The story is an alternate retelling of Kondou's Zeta Gundam manga, which depict a slightly different outcome of the Gundam 0079 finale that change everything. It feature the creation of the Z-Gustav, the alternate counterpart of the Z-Gundam by AEUG, which in this timeline is the organization of the Zeon's Remnants.
There are various tankobon edition of this manga, the most iconic one feauture the Z-Gustav on it's cover while the most recent one was the new Shinsouban edition published by Kadokawa in 2009
